the sizing seems to be american (aka bigger than expected) if you look at the measurements
I got my shirts today. My comments:
- shoulders too wide (20" shoulder to shoulder on my medium)
- flimsy collar (already wrinkled in the bag)
- colour looks nothing like the photo, more like a white shirt with coloured stripes.got mine too, i think the original page did say something about them being crumple/crinkle style or something? Not sure if i'm happy with them hmmm…was expecting something a bit different.
Got mine too, not very good quality, also the size is too big for medium, also the logo is too low. Can anyone confirm they are genuine? Look fake to me. Cheers.

Recharged back from credit card?I wrote to them for a refund 4 days ago but still no reply. I believe that these shirts are fake as the famous 'triangle' is missing from the end of the placket. Maybe we should contact Consumer Affairs as I believe it is illegal to sell fake goods.
could you explain more about the triangle? googled it but nothing came up….these shirts have to be seconds or something the positions of the pocket/logo is so far off and i can't even find the same style shirt anywhere. I hope we get refunds or something! is it possible to reverse the charges?

I thought id make an account just to let you guys know that i emailed them to ask whether they were genuine Ralph Lauren or fakes. They assured me that they were real and that they do not sell fake products, explaining that the styles vary depending on where they are made and what market they are meant for. I wouldnt be surprised to find out that they are actually authentic Ralph Lauren as i have similar shirts that i paid $120 for from David Jones that somewhat resemble these shirts, i actually asked on behalf of a friend who also purchased these shirts. A lot of online writers/bloggers that teach you to look for "this" and "that" signature stitch pattern and positioning will lead you to the conclusion that all RL shirts that are not of the specific range they purchased from are fake. It wasnt what i was expecting either to be honest, but if you wear it right it does look good, and it was only $20. Thats just my 2 cents. Oh by the way, out of curiosity from an above comment, i went to smell my shirt and it smells like all my other cotton shirts.
yea mine don't smell either - i guess maybe it's the style and sizing that is weird…shoulda stuck to my rule of not buying clothes off the net!
No reply from 1-day.com.au. Junip, no idea which shirt you bought from DJ but I have just gone to Polo Ralph Lauren shop and I have checked all the shirts on display. Each one of them have the 'triangle' stitching, so I am convinced that this is the signature stitching for Polo Ralph Lauren and not only for specific range. I am now convinced that these are fakes and suspect that junip may be from 1-day.com.au. I will be telling all my friends to stop buying items from about 1-day.com.au. I suggest that all of you do the same.

Well after I sent an email expressing my issues with the quality, 1-day finally replied and were kind enough to issue a refund even though they assured me that these shirts were definitely not fakes. They said ralph lauren have many manufacturing locations and each produce slightly different styles depending on the market, which is why these may appear to have slight differences. Anyway, I'm happy with the result and thumbs up to 1-day for their service. In future though I'll be a little more careful with the purchases.
