        All was good until the Play-doh came up from the bottom of the bag…. All sorts of alarm bells went off, and the security officer asked us “what is this?”. Well it was Play-doh. And fairly well labeled Play-Doh at that. All sorts of travel forums and travel blogs recommend play-doh as a GREAT toy to bring on a plane…except that it looks like the putty in home made explosives (i hear) and there is an ingredient in it that sets off an alarm in the bomb ingredient detector machine.

        I wouldn't worry about it. It's not on any prohibited items list that I know of. While the incident may have happened, I do think the writer has used a little artistic license.
