Families that go out to dams would use it often
You say that like everyone doesn't have an Olympic-sized swimming pool in their backyard.
Enjoy lazily floating down a river
Should be all good until you hit an oBike and get a puncture.
@marquise: That might be a small mercy, once you get to the ocean it's clear sailing to Antarctica …
Oh, thats sounds like an absolute blast. Hope it all goes smoothly for you!
@LiveItUp: Ohhhh nooooo I'm stuck in Brisbane over New Years but that sounds amazing, I'm expecting to see photos make the front page of the paper now! Thanks for the invite, I'm sorry I can't join!
@LiveItUp:
That's awesome@LiveItUp: Amazing.
@LiveItUp: Where is the promo code and Cashrewards cashback?
You've never sat in a creek and gone downstream with the current?
well living in Melbourne, they consider the Yarra a river, so I guess it'd be wide for any creek down here :-)
I can just imagine getting a puncture (it doesn't look too strong)after either hitting a log/bottom or someone jumping on it too many time. We used to use tractor tubes, but even they got punctures, which made it fun trying to get it to the bank before it sank. Bamboo rafts were the better choice
corporate alcohol fuelled christmas functions …. float down the yarra drinking booze and hope you don’t get weinstein’d, don burke’d, spacey’d or geoffrey rush’d if your intentions aren’t reciprocated….. if you get trump’d you might become prime minister ….
safer than doing same in thailand …. alfred, royal melbourne and st vincent’s hospital are all within 5 km …….
But Laos is the place to go for tubing.
Knowing this with an ocean beach rip current they would probably end up floating out to sea in it. By the way good idea to have your feet in the water like that, just what a shark would need. So it's probably not a good idea to use this at a beach.
By the way where are the rowing oars. How do they get it back to the shoreline?. Are they just going to float out with no way of getting back.
Ahh, the oars are where they make their money back from the big discount …
Yeah I would Really like to know how you get it back to shore or maybe it's just a case of 'I guess this is my life now.'
Cast Away 2 - Inflatable Boogaloo
Imagine every ozbargainer purchases one and floats on the same river, that would be awesome.
Floaty McFloatface. Just sayin'.
I just get the kids to blow it up with their mouth, let's me save on the pump.
Ok kids back in the car. Time to go home now
hmmm take it down to the break water at st kilda …. fill with expanding foam from bunnings so it wont sink in case of punctures and hire out to back packers for booze up …. tie up at mooring at night …. nahhh operate 24x7 and your summer income is all fixed …..
