I think is a bargain provided they have the $200 promo at the moment. It actually began when there was additional 5% off, but unfortunately when I come to think to buy, it was 7th Dec :(.

        @wolfshooter: Would be wire. Nice lens but I think the Tamron is Alpha only, so would need an adapter to mount on an E-Mount Sony.

        @PlasticSpaceman: oh yes sorry I'd get the ef mount and use it with a speedbooster - would go to f2 with stabilisation and them use the standard metabones adapter for full frame.

        But this does look like an ok price.
