OK, someone enlighten me. What makes these better than my $20 Sunbeam workhorse from The Good Guys?
This one adds extra vitamins, flavour and is gold plated (internal obviously, you cant see it)

Exactly. The internals for commercial blenders are pretty much unchanged so anyone paying this sort of price isn't really an ozbargainer but an ozdidnotdotheirresearcher.
For those of you who want a TNC5200, you can get a red one for $626.05 at Appliances Online eBay with the 5% off code, which is cheaper than Myer.
