Great portable blender that has a sip-cup and USB-C charging.
$44 pricing is for the Forest Green, White and Denim Blue colours.

I've been using this for the past month and it has been pretty good. Handles frozen fruit reasonably well and you get several blends out of each charge.
You'd break even with store-bought smoothies in under 10 drinks.

You can also get this price-matched at The Good Guys which might be handy for some cashback or for using StoreCash credit.

Ninja is a good brand. I have been using the standard home plug-in blender for a couple of years.
    Thanks for sharing ~
Ordered this portable version to give it a try.

The thing I love about this one is the ease of cleaning. Just rinse it off, add water and a bit of soap and run the blender for a bit then rinse it again.
Literally went from having a weekly smoothie outside to a daily one.

Just bought two more for the missus and family.

It's 150KM from Melbourne or 90KM from Pakenham and no where near the M1. It sounds remote to me.

    • +3

      Inverloch is absolutely remote

      • -5

        Rubbish

        • +2

You are far outside the standard metro Melbourne delivery network, which means additional delivery costs to Amazon. You can't live that far out and expect the same level of service. I say this as someone who drove to Wonthaggi and Inverloch on the weekend as a "get outside of the big smoke" day.

          You don't even have a Woolworths there…

@Grannular: Still, Bezos can afford it.

          • -1

@Grannular: Far outside? 100 odd km? A laughable suggestion.

Yes, I would be fine with a slightly higher shipping charge, but they state they will not ship it there.

You understand there is more to Australia than just Melbourne and Sydney right?

BTW - There's a Woolies, Coles and Aldi in Wonthaggi. I don't live here, just holidaying.

    • Pretty much if they have local amazon delivery partners vs auspost shipping.

Wonder if it has something to do with shipping batteries for this particular product.

      • -2

Nah I reckon they don't want to ship Aust Post (cost). If it's the seller shipping rather than Amazon it's even more likely.

No, it's Amazon fulfilment, so they have no excuse.

    • +4

What flat earth do you live in where Inverloch is not considered remote?

    • I don't get it, forest green can't be shipped to my location but denim blue can

      • Never mind It got blocked at checkout :(

    • +3

If it’s not so remote then just get it shipped to a parcel locker in Melbourne and you can drive over and pick it up. Since it’s not remote for you

Bought one of these about a month back for $49 and it's been great. So much more convenient and easy to use and clean than the full-size nutri-bullet.

Not saying this is not useful as a blender, but…
I don't get the marketing of this as 'portable' and who would actually use that?
Are there people walking around with this with unblended fruit for a few hours before deciding to blend and drink? Why don't you just blend it when you put the fruit in? Am I missing some benefit of waiting around to blend fruit right before drinking?

    • +2

If you have a car fridge or cooler, making it fresh always tastes better, especially if bananas are involved

      • Right, but in that case you're leaving the bananas unpeeled and putting it all in the blender somewhere before you drink? I guess that makes sense.
It's these cases they advertise, that I don't get, where someone is chopping things up, putting it in the blender and putting the blender in their car/bag for later blending…
That just seems like your lugging around the blender part for no reason.

    • Your argument is valid. Only reason I have one is for easy clean up if you only want to make one smoothie. Also, it’s quiet unlike your standard ninja/nutri which makes your ears bleed.

      • +2

Not to mention wake up the kids at night if your prepared to spend precious sleep time playing with them until they are tired again

Bought one during the last sale. Personally, I bring it to work and then add ice just before blending so it’s properly cold. Have also heard that you get the different liquids separating if you blend a smoothie and let it sit too long.

      • Good point. Thought it wasn't powerful enough for ice crushing, but that's good to know.

    • In my case, one of the use cases is being able to load it up with frozen fruit and then taking it to work for a late morning smoothie.
It can sit in the work fridge for a bit.

Definitely wouldn't want to be carrying it around for too long and having a warm smoothie though.

    • You bring this, bunch of fruits and milk, and make your smoothie in front of Green Cup store. Establish that alpha dominance.

    • You can use it wherever you want without plugging it into a powerpoint, and you can easily chuck it in the fridge.

Small things, but it makes it much more convenient than a traditional full-size blender that you have to put on the counter and plug in.

  • Thanks OP. Bought it using TGG price match & StoreCash. Planning to use it in the car on the way to work because if I blend in the house, I will wake everyone up.

    • lol how considerate :)

Flashbacks of that ‘mr. bean episode’ plays in my mind.

  • The blue colour is listed for $40.48, is it the same model?

    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0C7QFRBS8?smid=ANEGB3WVEVKZB&t…

    • It's used. $41.08 for the used like new one.

    • Used: Very Good condition

      • Thanks, missed that part, rather spend $4 for brand new.

    • That's a Used one

    • You dont wanna know what sort of smoothie was made

  • Got JB to price match, any colour.
