  • How are you getting power bank for $2.50? Mines showing up as $12

    • Hmm that's weird it was $2.50, maybe I was looking at something else

  • +6

ARMS for $49 is a great deal

    • +6

So when they it'll cost you an arm and a leg, does that mean it doesn't cost very much? Or is the value of a leg stupidly expensive?

    • was going to get it, but it's not available at any stores near me and it's $14.95 for delivery…

    • I disagree. Don't get me wrong it's a great game and I do enjoy it for the most part

But like 1-2 switch (though less of a demo that should be included with the console), it's not a full fledged game and shouldn't be priced as such. A bargain at under $30 or $35 I'd say

  • +1

Well f… might try returning my charge 2 to myer which hasnt been delivered yet. At that price I might get a blaze from officeworks!

FIFA and other EA games should be banned on OZbargain because of their gambling and pay 2 win microtransactions.

    • +1

So should any lootbox game then, right? Goodbye halo, Gears Of War etc

    • +1

      oh dear..

    • +4

so much anger.. take it out on Reddit not in OzB lol

    • +2

Nearly every Mario game contains elements of gambling. PITCHFORKS!

  • +2

"Hello Ozbargainer - Need any advice, talk to a expert now."

    So OzB is tracked?

    • Are you new here?

      • I know they are referral links, but this is the 1st time I get the "Hello Ozbargainer.." greetings

        • +4

          Doing it for years.

        • +1

never happened to me before so just realised it. anyway, nothing interesting here…

        • +1

@r0xz: haha I was just like you when that happened to me as well

  • Seems to be a recent price war on this Home Mini.

    • +3

someone can't wait to listen to every household conversations

      • +4

stop spreading false bullshit tbh. it's been thoroughly tested that it only activates on 'hey google or ok google' and does not send everything you say to their servers. google are not that stupid. I get that you and others might be joking when you say this, but people that know nothing about these will probably believe you.

I think everyone who knows the spying events that Edward Snowden revealed should worry about having a networked microphone or camera nearby.

        • well, that's for now. seems easy to switch the algorithm to start record everything at the next update. The hard part of planting one is already done (and being PAID for it!). Need to be aware that there's always that potential risk

In saying that, I actually own one :)

    • +1

      Subsidised by the NSA.

  • Arms or 1-2 switch?

    • +2

Don't have either, but Arms is better. I heard the games in 1-2 Switch gets old very quickly, and not something you would play on your own.

      • +1

I really regret buying 1-2 Switch last week at Big W for $59, it does go old very quickly and feels like it should've been included on the Switch rather than a close-to-full-price game.

    • +2

Would definitely recommend arms over 1-2 switch

    • +5

Spend the 50 on something else.

1-2 Switch is a fun tech demo that should have been a pack-in.
Arms is a fun tech demo that is about a quarter of the size and content of an average fighting game.

Sure, both can be fun, but neither are really worth 50.

    • +1

      Just bought arms. :)

Anyone up for a 8 Google Home Mini group buy with amex offer? ($100 off $400 spend)

    • $40.5 each?

    • location?

    • Need a location, buddy.

    • im in!

    • where are you located?

    • I'm in as well if in Sydney.

    • In Melbourne!

    • In for Sydney

Office works are quick to adjust to same price on ultra popluar deals or tbey just sell the stock and then nine left …. Almost like dan murphys vs first choice or bunnings vs sydney tool prices.

    • simply to avoid lose further 5% due to their NICE policy

    • Officeworks site now showing Home Mini as $53. So no more beat by 5%.

    • Office works wouldn't price beat. They said there's has a 2 year warranty and HN is only 1 year so not the same.. I called BS…

      and bought it anyway.:-(

  • is Fifa18 any good on the switch? reviews are not great, but is that because of the lack of gameplay modes or the actual gameplay.

    • +1

Well worth it if you are interested in portable Fifa. My main gripe is not being able to directly invite a friend over the internet to play against, local wireless play is fine.

      • Are you able to play Career mode through the Switch? Manager/ Player Career? I know it has FUT which is cool and I think the only modes lacking are the online seasons stuff?

    • Nba live port is rubbish

  • Bought 1 2 switch for $36+$5 postage on eb games ebay.. Pre-owned. Not like new vs preowned makes a difference with these cartridges

  • Damn, just bought a blaze last night through jb as an Xmas present. I opted for click and collect, and haven't collected it yet. I assume if I contact jb they shouldn't have any issues cancelling the order and issuing a refund, right?

    • I have done this once with JB. My order was paid for and ready to be collected. I just called them and said I needed to cancel and they said no worries and refunded the money back into my account. Good luck!

      • If done via ebay i dont think you can

        • They said it’s JB

Monitors without HDMI should be illegal

    • Yeh don't know who still uses dvi

      • +1

Did you know HDMI & DVI use the same signals and you can just use a cheap passive HDMI to DVI cable?

        • Really? Did not know that!

    • Do you collect hdmi royalties?

  • Harvey's site seems to be down alot lately

  • Daam, Been trying to find 1-2 switch for $20 … Guess I'll never get it.

    • +1

      It's not even worth 20

      • Is it? The pros of this game (That i was told) is that ball guessing game and that's it. I really just want to try that one out. :L

      Did you make that image?

  • Bought Google Home Mini last night from OW online for $54 and was about to pick it up this afternoon but luckily checked OzB and bought one more instead for $50.35 and will cancel the online order soon :)

Have to admit that I asked first if my order was ready to be picked up and it wasnt so decided to waste a bit time on phone and get it cheaper :) Thanks OP!

Having seen a lot of price drops lately, seems stores are reducing stock before arrival of Amazon?

  • Grabbed a Home Mini today - thanks
