    Reviews aren't great..

  • I'd jump, but my free copy is still working.

Figures that the one game I was super amped for around that time glitched it's way into being free and I had to return my day one copy anyways.

    • Explain?

I had it preordered, right, because I was one of the 6 people who unironically loved Knack 1.

Then on the day of release I happened to be on the store and the game was free digitally, including the soundtrack and all. It was a glitch, it was up for a couple hours too IIRC. Basically it went free for everyone for a little bit, and they never ended up revoking our copies.

So then I had to walk into EB about a week later when I decided I'd waited long enough, and that I thought they weren't gonna revoke it, and hand them a still wrapped copy back.

        • Nice.
I must be one of the other people. I thought knack 1 was fun I am really happy with the improvements etc. the gameplay is so much slicker now.

        • @jimbobaus: I haven't finished number 2 yet. Whenever I get something for free, it goes to the back of the list unfortunately. If I spend money on it, I'm obligated to beat it, if it's free, I let it sit until I really wanna go it.

I did finally platinum Knack 1 a month or so before 2 came out though, the Diamond run was a bitch, hey. I got it on launch day, along with a copy of Killzone. I find it sad that Knack got a bad rep and Killzone just got forgotten, should have been the other way around, Killzone was generic as shit and Knack at least tried to do something everyone wasn't doing at the time. Like, being forgotten is one thing, no one talking about you is better than everyone laughing when you bring up the fact you enjoyed Knack.
