      shut the hell up, you can probably purchase this on eBay for a lot less than $16, and people can spend their hard earned money on whatever they want (Under legal limits). If you believe that you have better ethics than most you would send 90% of your money to such organisations because what you might have (A car or an iPhone) is unnecessary.

      Some people forget to put the lid back on and this is instantaneous open and close.

      just a gimmick toy, but it could marginally retain more fizz by:
      -instead of opening lid every time and losing the fizz and the fizz is again loss when the pressure builds up again in the closed bottle.
      -this can marginally improve that, but still after u go below half way a lot of the fizz is use(loss) for building up the pressure, filling in the empty bottle space, pressurising for the dispensing

      and $16 for a piece of plastic, and i doubt its their original idea…….. so NO DEAL

      **if u live alone or drink ur soft drinks very slowly, i recommend a similar product, (a bottle lid with a small integrated pump) so after every pour u pump the bottle hard again, so little fizz loss. search soft drink lid pump fizz….. or similar on ebay

    This is the cheapest I could find on buy it now. So doesn't seem there is much of a difference if it is 2 for one. Plus the merchant shown by Cripto probably has quicker shipping.

    If you have your bottled drinks upside down, the air stays at the top under pressure, and the theory is when you open a bottle, it loses fizz.

    And when you pour a drink with this device, you dont need to "open" the bottle, hence leaving the fizz in.

    I would like to know if anyone has first hand experience with one, and how well it has worked for them….

      Wouldn't the tap stop working the moment the liquid in the bottle goes level with the tap? Based on the pictures that looks like around 1/3 of your drink wont come out and you'll have to use the bottle like a chump.

        Theoretically, the higher pressure inside the bottle should push it out… Unless of course it doesn't keep the "fizz in", thereby equalising the pressure and gravity will win in the end…
