  • price in the title pls

  • knew I forgot something - thanks!

  • they look like beautiful glasses. would be very nice with a ice cold james squires pale ale. mmm

    • I've used the double walled from Avancer without the handle and they are awesome!

      • The double walled glasses I have seen before have all felt very thin and fragile, what are the Avancer ones like?

        • +1

Most double walled glasses are thin and light, so I guess this is just the nature of the cup + design.

    • would be very nice with a ice cold james squires pale ale

The glasses only hold 250ml so you will need bigger glasses to hold a full bottle

These are what you want http://www.avancer.com.au/geminus-double-wall-glass-set-of-8…

  • A bit too small for me, but I'm loving a cold beer out of my 350ml double wall glasses :)

  • Nice just got one!.. bought the set of 8 last time really happy with them.

  • Would be nicer and amusing if they could be filled with light-coloured liquid.

  • 250mls ??? Do you have bloke's ones ???

    • +1

We can get nearly any type of these cups in, in fact we've got a whole bunch of new designs coming in the next couple of months - If you see anything in particular you like just shoot us an email and we'll see if we can get it in

  • Hey Avancer… I'm intrigued by this product, as it's not something I've really seen before. However, 250ml is too small for me. Any chance you can do us another deal on the 8x 350ml cups you posted recently?

Also, any response to this comment on the previous deal?

Anyone else finding these to be pretty poor quality? Uneven rims, little bubbles in the glass near the surface, small pock marks? Trying to work out if that’s how they’re all made or if I was just unlucky and got a bad batch.

    Cheers.

    • We can always do more deals - We're pretty low on stock on those at the moment but we'll have more by the end of the week so I'll put something up next week.

We've sold around 750 individual glass cups in the last couple of weeks and have only had issues with 6 so all up they are very good quality.
It's also worth noting that each cup is hand made, so no two cups look exactly the same

      • Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to the details on the 350ml glasses. Also, I'm not a fan of the handles. If you're going to buy glasses that are cool to the touch… you want to hold them by the glass don't you? =)

        Cheers.

      • do a deal on the 8 x 350ml glasses and myself and i assume alot of other people will snap them up straight away!

        • we definitely will - stay tuned around mon/tues

    • All double walled classes I have seen are advertised as handmade/handblown (These included) so because of this I think it would be normal for there to be imperfections and irregularities in the glasses.

Even mass produced glasses have bubbles in them, I think that is a normal for any glass being made.

      • Funny, I have a ton of glasses in my cupboard with no bubbles in them. Even the cheap used-to-be-jam-jars glasses are free from bubbles. Even still, thick glass with a bubble in it isn't much of a problem most times, but thin glass is likely to pop as the air in the bubble expands and contracts with hot and cold, and then you have tiny glass shards in your mouth, and a sharp edge on the glass to slice your mouth with (this I know from experience, when my mother kindly bought me a giant box of assorted very cheap glasses when I first moved out of home. Hence my trepidation with ill-made glass these days).

  • is the air evacuated from inside the glass??(is it vacuumed??)

    • These cups are not vacuumed.

    • They would need to be very thick glass otherwise they would implode

  • For anyone wanting the 350mls, they are now on special
