Ryzen 1700 w fan ($360.05) and 1700x ($369.55) similarly competitive.

I'd say this is reflective of a price drop, so look forward to some sale prices in the next few days.

    Of course, and while the 1700 and the 1700x might go back up $5-10 a piece, I sincerely doubt the 1800x is returning to $600, nor are either of the 1700 models going to sell for over $400 from hereon out.
    
    This is probably new stock, and over the next 7 days we might be lucky enough to get another 5% shaved off, that's all I'm saying.

  Tell me about it. I've been an AMD user this last decade, and was looking at Coffee Lake as i can actually afford it now… but this is VERY tempting.
