Hi guys, Phillip Di here I hope you are well.
Basically I have been selling on eBay for about a year and a half now www.ebay.com.au/usr/phillipdi and I have decided to break free from the eBafia and pass the discount on fees right to you guys!

I am selling a New Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S7, 32GB in size for $299.99 or $399.99 AUD in both Black and White.
It is in FULL working order in Australia, I have imported and tested this model MYSELF Personally and I am satisfied you will Phill the Quality on these.

Compatibility

https://i.imgur.com/UbTUYCO.jpg
Taken from willmyphonework.net,vodaphone works 100% Telstra and Optus switched off 2G, 3G is given the full tick of compatibility and 4G LTE "Band3-1800MHz, Band40-2300MHz, Band7-2600MHz" so check to see if it works for you, but when I tested it, it worked fine.

Now they are Genuine Samsung Phones, they came from over supply in Verizion stock who then auctioned it off at a cheaper price because it was branded Verizion because fewer people were able to buy the phones (like other telco's). This is perfect for consumers like you and me, its a Samsung galaxy S7 and it works fully in Australia on all networks and bands 2/3/4g, I tested it on all of them in Australia.

Note: this model likely misses Band 28 due to being a US Model

The shipping is free (11-21 days) and its $30 for DHL express (1-8 days)

Also check out my flagship PHD laptop, this I have again tested personally and sold to friends and family who use it currently without issue.
Its an AMAZING price with AMAZING specs have a look

  • That's not even half cheap.

  • Hi Phillip Di

  • Is it G930F, G930T or G930V?

    • SM-G930V (V for Verizion)

  • +4

WTF is that thing?! The laptop! My eyessssss!

    • I feel sorry for the friends and family he suckered into buying one of these

      • -1

I feel sorry for your friends and family too.

    • hey mate, not sure what happened with my caching but the laptop images did NOT load properly, please have a look again.

  • works fully in Australia on all networks and bands 2/3/4g

According to this, the SM-G930 does not support Band 28 (700 mhz)

    • I think it is either G930T or G930V model but lets wait for him to confirm…

      • Click the link. Model is SM-G930

G930 comes in many variants especially for US…You can find G930V or G930T brand new for sometimes even $200 AU on ebay but the G930F(the version supported worldwide including Australia) goes for about $400 on ebay….

        • @kiwiinoz: ahh ok. Wow $200 cheap . Does it still function on Vodafone?/ Kogan

        • +1

@Regie69: DO NOT BUY G930V or G930T as they wouldn't work with all mobile carriers here. I have personally made that mistake and had to sell it dirt cheap on gumtree…lol….

        • @kiwiinoz: It can't be the G930T as that will make it a T-Mobile branded device, which this one isn't;

they came from over supply in Verizion stock who then auctioned it off at a cheaper price because it was branded Verizion

        • @stuhtb: The Problem is exactly this. T-Mobile and AT&T are probably the two brands that matches more in line with Aus standards.

          https://www.droid-life.com/2015/02/05/us-wireless-carrier-ba…

Verizon and Sprint both use CDMA for 3G tech which is not the same as our GSM based HSDPA/3G standards (for all three Aus carriers). These mobiles will work ok on LTE/4G, but forget about getting any reception when 4G is not available and drops over to 3G because it will not work.

@Regie69: it works FULLY on Vodaphone/Kogan, works on 3G no issue on Optus and Telstra but not Band 28 on 4G https://i.imgur.com/UbTUYCO.jpg

        • -2

@Regie69: Hi mate, it works FULLY on Vodaphone according to willmyphonework.net
          It works on Telstra and Optus 3G (2g if they had it) and 4G Band 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 13.
          Telstra uses Band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 28 so bands 3, 5 and 7 matches up fine see here https://crowdsupport.telstra.com.au/t5/Network-Roaming/Telst…

Hey guys, I thought that by stating it was from Verizon that people knew it was the V version, not the T version, the T version would be AT&T and the V stands for Verizon, so its the SM-G930V, have a look here for full compatibility list it does quite well:

    Intel Core i7-3517U 3.0GHz

    5 generations back

      That's not the worst.
It has 2GB of RAM (half of a sub-$200 tablet from China), low-res screen, and no USB 3.0 (don't even talk about type-C).
Even in the days that CPU was sold, 2GB of ram was unheard of.

      • +1

8GB of ram sorry about that, it was a remnant typo from that old backup

Also check out my flagship PHD laptop

If you were using that laptop when doing your PhD, you must be a pensioner now.

  • OP states it's ex-verizon which would be SM-G930V and misses out on band 28. All other US models miss out on band 28 which is kind of a big deal here on OzB.

  • +3

Your amazing spec and amazing price laptop is rubbish.
Is it 2gb or 8gb ram? Perhaps you should QA your website content.
Since when is a 1366x768 res screen amazing?

Wireless N and AC have been out for years now, yet your amazing laptop doesn't support this.

If you want to be the next Kogan you're going to have to do better than this.

  • Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10

    Which one is it?

    • +1

      You choose that

  • Bad deals all around.

  • -1

I'm Neg this for it being Verizon stock. This will NOT work in 3G mode in Australia if it is the Verizon model (CDMA based 2/3G).
4G is great and is reasonable coverage in the City. It will not drop to 3G at all when 4G is not available like every other phone.

    • -1

willmyphonework.net would disagree with you, take a look, 3G and 2G (on compatible networks) has the FULL Tick of compatibility and 4G on the specific bands https://i.imgur.com/UbTUYCO.jpg (Y)

    • +1

I did a bit of research into this from the s6 deal and g930v supports both 3g CDMA (US 3g) and 3g HSDPA (AUS 3g)

      3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 & CDMA2000 1xEV-DO

YEP. Look at the pic taken from "will my phone work" https://i.imgur.com/UbTUYCO.jpg
100% compatible on vodaphone on everything, 100% compatible on Telstra and Optus 3G, its only band 28 it does not have
