    My wife and I am currently using Homeloancashback to get financing for an investment property.         Hi SuperMudkipz, this is absolutely not the case. Some clients want to actively look to provide positive feedback on service received and ask how they can do that. There is no link, aside from broker & customer, between us and the reviewer. Appreciate your feedback and also understand how that can be perceived of course however assure you that your view is not the case

        My feedback is genuine. I strongly recommend homeloancashback and John who runs it for the service and commission sharing.

        More background and I hope my efforts aren't wasted. We have bought an apartment off the plan in Melbourne, due for completion end of this month. Orginally we were using the developers recommended broker who was offering $500 cashback to clients of the developer. Then I thought maybe others might offer more. Googling I discovered a very small segment of the broker market who are willing to share comissions to varing degrees. Discovered John's website, put in some details and he called me the next day. Now waiting for the outcome of the bank valuation.

      Most banks ask that you have at least 6 months of history before considering a refinance however CBA will allow a refinance without this condition. With CBA, aside from the cash back from www.homeloancashback.com.au, you may also be eligible for a $1,250 rebate from CBA as well.

    Is that for both commissions? i.e. Both trailing (for the life of the loan), and the upfront commissions?

    • Sorry your post already answered that question for me. "Customers will receive 50% of both the bank upfront and trailing commissions paid to mortgage brokers for the life of the loan". I should've read it before asking the question.

  • John has been great in helping me to secure a refinacing loan though I've given him hard time with my choice of lender. He has been patient in guiding me through with the application.
