  • This is a great deal. I paid $57 second hand. Amazing game. Best Mario since SMB3 on the NES.

    • +1

you liked smb3 more than 64, galaxy etc? Woah i like your style. I'm currently playing super mario world 2

      • Yes i did.

I got the Mario bundle switch the other day quite disappointed that it didn't have a physical copy of the game, might consider getting this

    • +6

That bundle does have a physical copy of the game

    • +1

Can confirm the bundle comes with a physical copy of the game too..

      • it was the mario odyssey console with game card

    • That's odd.. it should have come with a physical copy of the game. Did you get a download coupon or something?

    • -4

actually it hasn't arrived in the mail maybe i was looking at a picture from another country…

    • My gamesmen oddessey bundle came with a physical copy of the game

    • -1

Yeah I was right actually. https://www.gamesmen.com.au/nintendo-switch-super-mario-odys…. It's the mario odyssey game bundle. Only comes with the game card.

    • perhaps i shouldn't call it a bundle if it's all including in the one box

  • +1

IDK how to get past the level where there's toxic purple stuff everywhere?! Z.Z

    • Throw hat to get rid of it?

      • +1

It's on the level without the hat!

        • You can ground pound the yellow staircase things (it has an explosion logo on the top of it). To ground pound its jump and press ZL/ZR

    • Lol, If you mean The Lost Kingdom the first thing you need to do Is retrieve Cappy from the vulture.
To start with I was also stuck here for a while trying to platform across the purple toxic stuff without Cappy, don't bother you will die many times.

One tip: Ground Pound is the key….

If you get stuck there are already a million guides published by now just search up your Kingdom.

      • I got across the platforms after dying 100 times, now I"m stuck on the other side! Lol!

        • Go back to the other side you must.

    • I got stuck on this part too, just ground pound the right bits, you'll work it out. I love the music in this level once Cappy is captured and he is screaming for help.

      • Seems like a common occurrence XD at first I made my way across the purple abyss with great difficulty than managed to get stuck made my way back over. Then made it up to the vulture using backflips and the dive jump didn't even realise you could Ground Pound those things thus hadn't learnt how to defeat the vulture probably messed around nearly 45 mins to hour trying to dash jump and dive at the vulture lol.

If you have Nintendo Switch you need the Mario games otherwise why have a Switch?
No point getting a Switch for cross platform releases.

    • +4

      BOTW FTW

      • +1

But it's on the Wii U…

        :P

(but yes, I know, a little technical)

        • +1

I have BoTW on Wii U. I wasn't about to go out and buy a new Switch at launch just to play it.. not after Twilight Princess.

      • +1

        Splatoon 2

    • i wouldn't have bought it if mario wasn't released this year

    • +2

Zelda and Splatoon and portability are 3 good reasons to get a Switch without buying Mario (although I do recommend getting Mario).

  • Any of you guys got mario kart deluxe? Is it a big jump from mario kart 8?

    • +1

But it IS mk8, just with all the dlc, and for the switch.

    • +1
      • Includes all DLC from Wii U version.
      • Includes the then-absent Battle Mode.
      • Supports more controllers, including Gamecube controllers via the USB adapter.
    • +1

If you already owned MK8 (and maybe bought a DLC pack like I did with the Zelda one) then it's not really worth upgrading unless you're a die hard mario kart fan and don't own other platforms and want to experience other racing games.

      • +1

Oh thanks for clearing that up, I was thinking it was a brand new one. Won't bother since I have mk8 in wiiu

    • Its pretty much the same game.
