    Fairly loaded up:-
    6-cell battery
    Atom N455
Win7 (Starter version - many will prefer Win XP!)
    Wireless N
    Bluetooth
    250GB HDD
    Camera
    3 x USB

Looks quite good. A sign of more good things to come though with the rise of the AUD$
One review on Amazon for a similar model reports inability to upgrade to 2GB RAM despite repeated manufacturer-supported attempts - but may not be a problem with this specific model.

  • Whats taking so long for N550 atom netbooks to come to Australia?

On Amazon USA you can buy an Aspire One AOD255 for $329 but here Down Under we're still getting slugged $300+ for single core N450/5 netbooks.

edit: looks like Skycomp is selling aforementioned AOD255 with Win Starter / Android dual boot for a pricey $448.

    • Apparently the Skycomp one has 1GB of DDR3-1066 while the Amazon one is DDR2. 6-cell on the Amazon version, no idea on the Skycomp. Their pictures look completely different though: the keyboard is wider on the Amazon version.

Both cost around the same shipped to your door. Amazon one is probably cheaper by $40 max.

  • I wonder if it has SIM slot and the little magic door, where you place the 3G WWAN card? Was really good s10e from MLN some time back with 3G wiring/slot/sim slot. Might replace my s10e if it does.

Though the old one incorrectly lists it as sold out.

Edit: Just noticed the link in the old one is to a different auction from the same seller.
