360RUM1111

Just came across this code on 360 Rumors for the Xiaomi Mijia 360 camera which looks like a real bargain, cheapest price I've seen it so just grabbed one.

  • It has in camera 6-axis digital video stabilisation.
  • 2x 16MP cameras, with 190 degree wide angle lenses at F2.0.
  • 3.5K video resolution, which is supposed to be updated soon to 4K via firmware.
  • Supports 128GB maximum SD cards.
  • Built-in 1600mAh 3.8V Li-ion battery, but also can be powered via USB.
  • iOS / Android supported.
  • IP67 waterproof and dustproof.
  • May include live streaming in future updates.

Also worth getting the selfie stick that's mentioned on the 360 Rumours page as well for $13 AUD. Code 1111360RUM.

I prefer the one from Banggood

Cause silicone parts are made for toys

      • It was 360??? =P

  • Wonder if this be use as a dash cam?

It doesn't have auto record on/off or loop recording.

But it's a really good budget 360 cam. Stitching is excellent. Resolution/quality is good too. Much better than my 4k single lens 360 (more like 260degree?) cam.

Good deal too, I got mine a few months ago for AU$280 and ordered the selfie stick a few weeks ago for AU$29, which hasn't been delivered yet :/ GearBest delivery is SLOW.

Pro Tip: the oculus rift sensor stands are the perfect tripod for 360 cameras :)

      • I'm tempted to get this for an upcoming trip soon and then put it in the car when it's not needed for travel.

So if you power it on by usb, it won't auto start recording right? Might be a hassle to remember to press the button whenever you start the car.

It mentions loop recording on the product description, are you able to double check to see if that's true or not on yours?

You might be right. I'm backing up my SD card right now but it looks like the movie files are split in ~2.5GB files, about 9min long.

After the backup I'll start recording and see what happens when it's full.

        • There's an option in settings called "record cycle". Turning it on will delete old movies to make room for new movies but in the same folder/day only. If I remember I'll start a new recording tomorrow to see if deletes recordings from today to make room.

        • @Obake: That's promising, hopefully they can update the firmware to give you the option of loop recording from the oldest file (or maybe it already does).
Thanks for taking the time to check.

Now if only there were a way to get it to start recording automatically when you supply power.

        • @unco:

Yeah, it deleted older videos to make room for new videos. I recorded too much this morning so it deleted ALL my previous movies so can't tell if it deleted the oldest first, but I assume it did.

          Hope that helps?

        • @Obake: Yeah that's helpful info, thanks again!

  • I just ordered two days ago with their 195.99 code? Does anyone know if I can get the price amended or cancel it and reorder??

  • Anyone know when firmware update coming or if already released to increase this to 4K?

There was a new update released on 2017-11-02 V1.3.102.105.5.15827 but it doesn't mention 4k.

      1. Support bracketing
      2. Support 2048x512@120fps
      3. Support shooting RAW picture of DNG format
      4. Support High bitrate video of 3456x1728@30fps
      5. Added exposure time : 1/4,1/15,1/60,1/240,1/1000,1/3200
      6. Resolve bugs

I installed it earlier and checked it didn't have 4k option. It didn't have 120fps option either. That could because I don't have a fast enough SD card. I don't have one either to test if this is the case.

      • Thanks for heads up. Installed new firmware - highest resolution on a U3 card is 3456x1728 30fps

    • Sounds like the update is coming soonTM and it should match the features of the newer version which shares the same hardware but can do 4K

  • Is it the cheapest price ever? Just placed an order.

  • Much better than the Gear 360 cameras?

  • The code seems to have expired.
