Have you noticed that if you have land with an 8, the 6 always gets rolled, and when you have land with 6 the 8 gets rolled, and the only time you hold a 6 or an 8 and your number is rolled, some not so nice friend just put the robber on it. And as long as the robber is on it, your number is rolled many times. This obviously stops when you remove the robber, then, your number is not rolled any more.
And to answer your question, I can give you 3 sheep for that.
