From seller SeaKnight Outdoor (USA) Co.,Ltd (98.5% positive from 33,000+ reviews)

Item looks original judging from the pictures posted in the reviews section. These reels normally retail anywhere between AU $85-$120 depending on the size and retailer. You will find this reel recommended on many a forum post asking for mid range reel recommendations.

These reels are a step up from the entry level Sienna series of Shimano reels. I've owned a Sienna 2500 for 5 years and I can't fault it. It's still as smooth as the day I bought it though I must admit I'm not the heaviest of users. I'm looking to own a heavier outfit and thought I'd go for a slightly better reel while I'm at it.

This is part of Singles' Day Sales for 2017.

  • Just be aware that most seller jack up their prices before/during the 11.11 special.

  • OP, my brother is a keen fisherman. He has ALOT of feels. I know he has a Stella, I got him a Stradic (he now has 2), and I'm pretty sure he has a Saragosa as well. He does have Daiwa's, but unsure of them.
Do you think he would still appreciate a Sedona? I'd probably get him a 1000, as I believe his smallest reel is 2000.

    • A 1000? Is he fishing in a fish tank?

      • He has literally every other size…so maybe he might if he had one?

      • You would be surprised with the size and quality of fish you can catch with a 1000 sized reel. Check out Sand Flat Fishing Australia on Youtube.

    • You should talk to him more often if he has a lot of feels. Seriously though; Yes, I think he would still appreciate it as he can use it without worrying about accidentally dunking it in salt water etc. Would be suited to wading in the shallows or fishing on a kayak (for fish like bream, whiting, bass and flathead) where it is more likely to get really wet. The Stella is in a completely different league. The Sedona's are a step down from the Stradic I think. Mind you I'm not talking from experience, just from what I've read and judging from the price differences.

    • +1

He has ALOT of feels. He must be quite a catch since he reels them in.

      • LOL I just realised this. I was wondering why ytumer was saying I should talk to him more lol

    • If he's running a Stella, he's probably not going to lower himself to using a Sedona
