FYI CentreCom has a G2220HD monitor for $169 (but no free delivery)
    http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?sort=2a…

and many places has it's bigger brother, the 24" G2420HD, for $200ish.

Only difference between the G2220HD and the E2200HD is the speakers. (G series do not have speakers.)

    • Would you recommend the the G2420HD or the E2420HD? I'm thinking of buying either/or.

      • Well, the E2420HD series are entertainment units (meant for the living room) so if you have a computer and Xbox/PS3 side by side and want to use a single screen for both of them, buy the E2420HD since it has dual HDMI input support.
Two other things the E has over the G is the built in speakers and built in USB hub.

The G2420HD only has a single HDMI input, and also no built in speakers or USB hub.

Ditto… with the improved Exchange Rate since then, why are monitors stuck at:
      1) this price-point
      2) this size (fair enough to keep them at $200ish, but surely we should be at 24" being the standard for $200ish by now?)

  • this is an excellent monitor and great price. i have the 24" version paid $350 for it. i use my xbox 360 on it and my pc, works great.

highly reccomend for only $209 you get full hd gaming.

    • no doubt its a great monitor, but its been this price for a while, just hard to find.

I got this about 2 years ago around $220
    It's a great monitor

But there are better monitors out in the market for extra $20-30
I'm using this and Dell U2311H (bought it when it was on sale for $249 inc. free delivery 2 weeks ago. LOVING IT)

If you don't really care about built-in speakers
    Get something else.

    At MSY
    24” 2ms LG W2442PA-PF $285
    23” 2ms DVI LG 2353V-PF $188

No reason to be stuck with 3 year old monitor when you can get something else.

  • the price has stuck because its still a very good monitor. they had some at MSY last week, i asked them and they said its still very popular and people love it for the spare room with a xbox or ps3 in it.
