more info about how online is more expensive …
Coles is more expensive - with only catalogue promotions and no instore promotions. They also inflate standard grocery pricing in many categories, often by up to 10%.
As far as i am aware and as stated on their website, Woolies has same pricing instore and online and also has all their promotions online. The only area that might differ would be in Fruit and veg where there is a little bit of local competition.
Do you know otherwise, or are you just considering the cost of delivery? remember click and collect comes at no extra cost.Only buy catalogue or 1/2 price specials online.
I haven't seen any price differences between online and in store for Woolworths, apart from clearance specials.
Last time I received this $5 off $50 online shop email, the promo code did not work. Customer service said "may be you are not targeted" :D and gave diff code to use for the inconvenience caused
Getting "Sorry, your Coupon: "1000PTS" has expired." for the code 1000PTS @tonester.
2000 points is the same as $10 that can only be spent at Woolworths.
Given that online is more expensive and that Woolworths can manipulate your spending habits better using the internet it's a bum deal. It's even worse if you weren't going to spend $120 to start with.
