My offer was spend a minimum $60 per week for four weeks and get a Google home mini or 6500 points.

    • +8

          Mine is $73.84

        • $145 for me.

        • you didn't get any offer

        • +58

Mine was 'Get your face painted so that you resemble a zebra, go to Melbourne zoo and canter about for 1 hour. Then go to COLES and buy a watermelon. Receive 1 'Chuppa-chup'.

        • Mine was 450

        • +3

          @hell0:

Mine $999 per week to get photo to google home..

        • +1

          @yeohkt: mine is actually 70+
          The Mini costs 75 retail..

        • @indomie: likewise

        • @Bigboyburrito:
Hmm should I get the mini and resell or take 6000 points = $30?

        • @inherentchoice: resell for around 50 easy, however if you don't already have one, at least mess around with it first

        • @indomie: Same for me and 13,500 points in place of the mini.

      • Me too

      • +1

Mine is spend $170 per week over 4 weeks. WTF.

    • +1

Mine was spend $50 a week for 4 weeks and get 6000 points.

      • another 1 for $50p/w and 6k points

    • mine is spend $50 once and get 3000 points

    • Mine says $130 min and 12000 points

    • +3

My wife and I have our own Woolworth rewards cards and we only use her one normally. We both got the email but my deal was:
      * Spend $50 for four weeks and get the Google mini or 6000 points (same as OP)
      My wife's was:
      * Spend $120 for four weeks and get the Google mini or 11000 points
Obviously it is based on historical spend and so those who don't use the card much will get the lower spend requirements.

      • +1

Fortunately for me my local Woolworths in Camberwell (VIC) they were selling Cadbury Favourite for $9.50 and there was possibly the last pallet of Free Movie Ticket ones left and so I just grabbed four of them plus some extra bits that were on sale and easily hit my $50.

I also have to do $80 at Coles to complete the 2nd of two weeks there for another deal.

As an FYI, there were about 10 Movie Ticket boxes left there for those who are looking.

    • Mine is $145 a week for 13,500 points. Can't see me getting there.

    • Mine is $130 and 12000 points.

      • my wife got offer of spend $80 for 4 weeks get google home and i got nada.

  • +3

Should this show in my account already? - Targeted?

  • +2

Targeted. Got same offer on rarely used card.

Have multiple Rewards Cards - only offered on 1 card so far. Most of My other cards have ongoing offers ($5 off $30, $10 off $40, $15 off $50 etc).

Google Home Mini sells for $79 on Play.

    • +2

      $5 off $30, $10 off $40, $15 off $50

I'd actually prefer those offers than this, don't want to have to spend $200 to get $30 off.

I could buy a Coles voucher from eBay and get $30 off $150 spend anyway.

      • +1

Yes - only worthwhile if want the new Google Home Mini selling for $79.

        • +1

Yeah, don't want one and to sell on eBay not worth the hassle for me.

Would much rather money/points on a small spend.

        • @Scab:
          Love the $$$ too 💰

I have 6 cards offering instant $10 off $40 by today, & $15 off $50 next week. Am half way through Coles $50 off 4 $50 spends… So much shopping😱

So $200 spent next week.would cost me $140!! Could pay for the Google Home Mini later when the price drops.

        • +1

          @Infidel:

Never knew you had so many budgies.

        • @Scab:
They're very hungry budgies at the moment😀

    • +1

Got a card that I've never used. Logged in and no offer for me.

      • Offer is emailed. If you don't use Rewards Card - no offers for you. Plus need to set in account to receive offers.

        • Yeah it was already set to receive offers

        • @jimbler:
But you've got to use the card occasionally so they want to entice you back with offers. But spend too much & the offer won't be so attractive.

        • @Infidel:

That doesn't make much sense. You'd think they'd try and encourage people that don't use the card to start using it like Ebay/Paypal and their offers to dormant accounts. Anyway, I'll make a couple of purchases this week and see if I get one for the next deal.

        • @jimbler:
I'd say Woolies think you're not worth trying if you don't spend anything. Everyone needs to eat, so if you aren't buying anything (& using their card), you aren't likely to. Plus first use may be necessary to activate card/account.

Woolies strategy would be to turn occasional shoppers (probably shopping elsewhere) into regular shoppers.

Unfortunately will be too late for this offer.

    • +1

Just received same emailed offer on another card - 2 hours after first. So offers are still slowly being sent out. Don't panic (yet).

      • And another offer now, 6 hours after first offer. Handy having a few Rewards cards!

        • And just now offer #4 - all the same on different cards, 8 hours after first offer⏳

  • $70/week here… wont make it…

    • +2

No chance for me either. It might be worth buying extra stuff and returning it though…but not scannin reeards card on return.

  • $90 a week and 8000 points for me. For pick up orders with a spend over $100 it provided the promo code PICKUP2000 for 2000 bonus points.

    • +1

Same for me too. $90 a week ain't happening.

    • "Sorry, your Coupon: "PICKUP2000" does not appear to be recognised by us. Please call our Customer Service Team on 1800 000 610 for assistance."

      So targeted I guess.

  • I don't have a rewards card but I'd get one for this. Sounds like I've missed the boat though?

    • Don't worry, they come up often enough that you'll see the first offer within months. Use your card to develop a pattern that makes the store want to lure you back.

  • How would i tell if this offer is targeted towards me? Should i receive email or on my everyday rewards account or just enter the code and see if it works?

    • You should get an email last night

      • +1

Mine arrived 1 hour ago. May be still lin the mail".

        • Another same offer 2 hours later & another just received 4 hours after that… On 3 cards

  • +4

To the people saying targeted, I did put that in the title and one of the mods removed it for some reason.

    • +1

The other offer with code probably isn't targeted.

      • Yeah it's not, guess that's why.

        • Would be better as 2 deals (1 targeted, 1 not) as second offer Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer so can't be used with first offer.
And then might be combined by mods back into 1 deal…

    • The moderator removed it and tagged it as targeted, however it seems our 'TOMORROW' tag is removing the 'TARGETED' tag, we've put it in manually until tomorrow and get that fixed in the near future.

      • I see, thanks.

In hindsight I probably should have just made two separate posts.

BTW, is it just the tomorrow tag or all tags that have this issue?

        • It will be all tags, only 1 tag can display as things stand (Tomorrow/In X Days, Targeted or Expired). Anything future dated won't display the targeted tag. We can just write it in manually until the start date comes for now.

        • +1

          @hamza23:

          Thanks.

  • +2

I've got no offer (yet) :(

    • You have to set your Rewards account to receive promos to get targeted offers.

      • +1

Mine is, but I never get offers.

        • You probably use your card a lot?

I mainly use Flybuys and I almost never get offers from them, rarely use my Rewards card and get quite a few.

        • -1

@Scab: not a great deal, maybe $20 per week

        • +2

          @westical:
Think it is the frequency of use. A bit like gambling but in reverse - tease Woolies with occasional payouts purchases.

Spend larger amounts occasionally, so they want to entice you back. Don't use card every shop, or apply for another card - so your shopping is randomly spread across cards. I get so many attractive offers.

        • @Scab: Thanks OP.

        • +1

@Infidel: Ditto, with both Coles & Woolies. I have at least 10 cards per shop. I Need A spreadsheet to keep track of it all…:)

      • Yep. Get them all the time. The other day I got an offer for triple points.

      • I couldn't find the place where you can set my account to receive promos? Can you tell me where please?

        • +2

          My Account>Communications>Woolworths Rewards and Partners.

    • +1

same here, not seeing it my rewards account :(

      • It arrives as email.

        • ok, not in my email then :(

  • $100 a week for me, wont be spending that much

  • +1

Haven't received an offer yet. However does this mean a Google home mini is worth $30 delivered?

    • +1

Google Home Min sells for $79 in stores.

    • think you're thinking of chromecast Mily, and even those are more than $30

      • +1

No, I am thinking since Woolworths is equally happy to give out either 6000 points (worth $30) or a G-home mini delivered (to some targeted users), so from a retailer's perspective, these are equivalent?

        • -1

You can use this info to negotiate a better price for the mini if you want it.

        • Only a certain cohort (the Low spenders) are getting the $50/6000 point offer. The rest range up to numbers like $130/12000 or $150/14000 points etc.
The mini is more worthwhile (assuming you want one) if you are in the $50 per week cohort. Otherwise you might just look to get the cash or not even bother with the deal.

  • Don't think I'm targeted… Should've come by now right??

    • Woolies offers arrive slowly - may still be on its way. Mine arrived 1 hour ago.

      • I hope you are right!

        • I have multiple cards & only received 1 offer. Other cards have existing offers, so may not receive offer despite not activating most.

        • If you aren't after the Google Home Mini you can just buy a $150 Coles eBay voucher for $120.

Better offer than this as you don't have to spend $200 but unlike this one you have to use the entire amount in one transaction.

        • @Scab: meh $150 in one transaction - I think I'll end up going backwards as half of that stuff I wouldn't need. For the sake of saving $30 I'll probably get $70 worth of stuff I don't need haha

Looking forward to the Google home mini though, seems like a better deal.

      • Just received same offer on another card - 2 hours after first. So offers are still slowly being sent out. So ignore the unwarranted neg vote for my comment stating that above. Don't panic (yet).

        • And another offer now, 6 hours after first offer.

  • Why offer is targeted?

  • 14,000 bonus points OR a Google Home Mini. No Deal.

    • +3

You must spend big to get that many points!

      • Whoops, forgot to add the spend amount.

Spend $150* or more in as many shops as you like each week for 4 weeks for a Google Home Mini or 14,000 bonus points.

  • +2

I got the spend $120 for four weeks and get 11,000 points offer

    • Me too. Not a hard target to reach tbh.

      • +1

I actually prefer the Woolworths offers because you can reach the target in multiple shops. But the Coles FBs offers are more profitable when stacking.

        • depends on the offers, sometimes it's" spend $XX in one shop each week…"

  • So does this have to be in one shop or can it be spread through the weekm?
Also does a Woolworths petrol work?
