    removing dust and dirt from the car

    Hopeless for a car, too awkward to reach the tight spots, not enough power and run time.

      Agreed, tried using the v6 animal in the car and couldn't reach anything around the dash as it hits the windscreen. Need a flexible attachment or something.

      I don't think there is any difference under the same V6 engine : ) . So more accessories are better.

        The V6 Cordfree come with the wand and full-sized head - making much more suitable for around the house (can still use as a handheld with basic accessories).

        The V6 Car + Boat comes with many more small attachments - making it the better choice for cars and spot cleaning.

      Depends on what you're after. Motor etc is the same in all V6 models. This deal doesn't have a normal "long" stick for cleaning floors at home, but looks like it does have a "short" powerhead which would be much better for cleaning the car. Normal V6 slim only has a regular short head with no powerhead.

        I have a full size dyson vacumm at home ( cant remember the model may be DC58 animal, got it 2 years ago from the good guys deal), can i use the hose, the long stick and accessories of my full size vacumn for this cord free one?

          Good question. Maybe all the dyson hoses, pipes, and attachments are all a fixed size so they are all interchangeable?

        There is a pet hair attachment. It works well for my girlfriends hair which is on every possible surface

    I've been waiting for a deal on this for a very long time (over a year) and the cheapest I've seen is around the $300 mark.

      Thank you for your query.

      The 12V charger included for the V6 Car+Boat won't work with a DC31 machine due to changes in the design and charger itself.

      That being said, there is a car charger available for the DC31 with part number 918657-01 for $30.

    Thank you! I have been waiting for this for months becaus I didn’t want the long tube of the v6 slim.
