Worth between 75c and $3 depending on what you spend them on - not worth it if you weren't filling up at BP anyway.
It'll cost you extra to fill up at BP anyway. They're usually 3c-4c/litre dearer.
Comes down to same price for me than coles or caltex. Both are actually 10c expensive to keep tricking people into buying more groceries for dockets.
And BP petrol is better. They did some tests and there was less water and other stuff in it compared to other gas stations.
Rumour has it that they all come out of the same refinery!
@Peck: many do, but the additives, storage and delivery time to gas stations and lots of other things have to be taken into account. My Lancer wagon had bad fuel economy (260kms a tank) so I started experimenting. It gave me 9kms more out of every tank (after using BP petrol for over 3 months - regular petrol not premium) then bought Yaris 2010, which gets me 4kms more a tank and My CRV2006 8kms more a tank (compared to non BP petrol). I understand these are not lab tests + things may not be that accurate and 9kms is not much, but I happily pay 3 cents more at BP as I am convinced.
I'm still waiting for my bonus Velocity points from August.
And September.
8 points per litre here …. works well with the Amex spend $40 get $10 back offer. Don’t fill up at BP otherwise.
There's a current Amex BP offer?
From September or therabouts… Still to use the last of my 4.
Yep, I have a stack of gift vouchers from that deal !
I got double points as my targeted offer…
Me too
Yep, I got that one. I can't find it in the t & c's but I assume that it is limited to one fill up ??
