  • I have the u2410 and I've had it for about 5 years now, colours are amazing.

    • +2

It's worth mentioning that you have an Ultrasharp from back when they were high gamut, 96% aRGB+ and photographers loved them because they were the best thing this side of $coloredge.

Then they went downmarket and have pretty crappy color coverage, like <86% aRGB. Barely better than the pov-tier P series.

      • Yeah the colour is amazing. Didn't know they went down hill

      • Any recommendations for a monitor in a similar price range for graphic / photoediting?

    • Still have my awesome 2408WFP that 10 years old and still going strong.

  • Looking for a USB C monitor…. sigh

    • +1

For 27" 4K USB-C monitors there is the Lenovo ThinkVision X1 and LG 27UD88 in this sale. If I recall correctly the X1 has been ~$10 cheaper in the past and the LG ~$50.

      • Links:

        • Lenovo ThinkVision X1 from mediaformcomputersuppliesptyltd for $831.06 - 20% = $664.85
        • LG 27UD88 from umart-online for $869 - 20% = $705.20 plus post
  • The U2715H comes down to about $550 which is a great price also.

  • Any links ?

  • Fyi I picked up Dell P2418D (seemingly the next edition of the popular P2416D) for $319.86 during the 18% off eBay sale. Might be worth searching on this also.

    Incredible monitor so far

  • Sorry must have accidentally clicked the associated check while posting

  • Appreciate the suggestions

  • Is it the successor to U2413? Wide gamut. Supports 1:1 scaling.

Btw, audio out is going to be crap. You'll need an amp if you're going to use it.

    • According to the TFTCentral review linked in the OP:

"This screen is designed to be a replacement for the aging U2412M screen, sticking with the standard gamut backlight and more general features than the semi-professional grade U2413. As such, the U2413 will still be available alongside the new U2415 if you specifically need some of the advanced features offered there."

Note that the aging U2412M (released in 2011) is still on sale at Dell for $449…

      • I'll keep my U2413 then.

It's a gamble with new Dell monitors. You never know if they support 1:1 scaling. Some have it some don't. My brand new QHD monitor doesn't have it, but every other one I've had has it.

  • Thanks Op. Very tempting indeed.
