Ok, that was a genuine query. I have no interest in an argument but you seem to know about it so how about sharing some info?
@brentsbits: basically - anything above 200W motor has to be registered for license but there is no license for self balancing scooter thus making it not legal to use on the road.
Oh, right, duh. I hadn't even considered that would be the issue. Given that a lot of ebikes go a reasonable clip and still stay under 200w. Never thought this would go above that.

About 500 or 600 bucks which is a bit exy for a bluetooth skateboard, but apparently pretty awesome. Does anyone out there have one/can recommend it or otherwise? Or Does anyone know of a cheaper BT skateboard that is good/well-built?
