    These type of BBQ tend to rust very quickly with the charcoal/heat beads…no brand specific issue, its just the way they go.

    This one is specific for skewers…so, will be enough for your family, but repeat 2-3x full racks when guests come over (or more!)

    Personally, go to any Greek fete and pick up this style of BBQ (comes longer/shorter/wider/thinner/taller/shorter combinations) - but highly recommend those that have 3 v. long skewers that are raised above the heat box - with a single motor that runs all three. The big daddies will turn a whole pig.

    Now, with the 3-long skewer combo, you can thread whole chicken fillets, chops, pork, beef (whatever) across the skewers - depending on heat, will take about 1 - 2 hours (incl. outdoor temp, wind, etc), but the turning work is done for you - basting is your preference. Great to stand around talking, less work turning. Any cold evening, this bbq warms everyone up.
    You can still have skewers using the grill trays.

    IMO, this is OK, but not useful for other than just small skewers, smaller gatherings.

    Dousing the coals is risky, with all the steam and coal dust that flies up - makes a huge mess - but worth the foody goodness!
