  That is a great price for the specs. Shame it has no dedicated GPU or that the battery ism't charged directly from the Type-C connector. It is also 2kgs or 4.41 pounds.

  Would be fantastic for work or uni scenarios.

    I'm waiting for the 14" version to drop $30usd so it sneaks under the AU$1000 GST-free threshold. Smaller 14" screen and 1.7kg would make it closer to an ultrabook, same 8th gen i5 and a dedicated MX150.

    Putting CPU and fingerprint scanner aside everything else is identical to Acer R 15 which also has touch screen and can transform into big and heavy tablet.

    Whether CPU justifies difference in price solely depends of whether you have applications able to take advantage of increased milticore performance.
