it's running a snapdragon 820. the first phones using this were released 18 months ago.
you're right though, i'd just looked at the specs. obviously the processor isn't the only important thing, but it's running the same one as a $250 xiaomi!
for sony fans though, the xz1 compact is a great phone at a great price

Feb 2017 hardly an "old" phone. Same age as the LG G6. Not that im advocating buying it. its $560 at DWI if anyone cares.
It was announced in Feb 2017 but only released to the market for sale in April 2017. It's only been on the market for 7 months. Yet some people seem to think it's such an old phone!.
They probably consumed it for other Sony phones.
