No, they cater for different scenarios. Mini for bedside, small rooms, home for bigger rooms and music, Max is designed for music.
Sonos support yet, or do we have to wait for Alexa?
If you didn't know Sonos just brought out a new speaker with mics in it - looks like a Play1 basically. Right now it has Alexia support built in, next year they say it will have Google … not sure if that means there will be a way for 3rd party voice controls to hook into existing sonos equipment - but I doubt it now (they'll want you to buy theirs).
I always wanted to pay $120 to help the giant tech companies become even greater monopolies and assist our governments into becoming surveillance states.
It's a shame convenience and privacy are inversely proportional.

What phone though? Still waiting for my iphone. Might get a Galaxy S7, had one, sold it, but just loved the look and weight of it.

Loving Netflix with this - pause, skip, play next episode so easily (NOTE do need Chromecast on TV). Links with LIFX, Spotify and Logitech Harmony Hub as well. Timer is also a handy option. Highly recommended. If you wanted to save cash and can wait, get the mini version when that one is released.
How would you connect this to netflix? I run netflix from my Hisense TV.
need chromecast with TV, then in Google Home you can link it to your Netflix account
Its annoying that Android Smart TVs dont work with this, would be great not to have to add chromecast to a smart TV
It works with my mibox on youtube, but doesnt work on Netflix.
note that I bought one from HK before, but it wont allow me to add multiple users…Not sure if it's region related. Good price though…
——updated: I found that you have to set your device language to "English(US/UK/AUS)" to be able to use "shared Device"…what a funky way for Google to do "Region Lock"…
