Got one of these. Only use it for scanning now.
Found that it if you did not use it regularly the ink will dry and you would need to do a maintenance and clean. Found I was using more ink this way than actual printing.

Buyer please beware. I have a similar model and the ink cartridges need replacing very frequently. (Almost every 100 pages on economy mode). It's a huge hassle and significant ongoing cost.
