from one of the one star voters; "I am a massive Bladerunner fan, what an epic, but this version is rubbish. If you love Bladerunner, do yourself a favour and track down the "directors cut" on Blu Ray. I rented this on holiday with friends and this cut is the hacked original that the director destroyed by cutting scenes and dubbing"
Get the 5 disc blu-ray with every version you could possibly want. You are sure to find the one that you like the best. I bought it in the U.S. when it first came out for around US$12.
Have you seen the price of the 5-disc version now?
Yours was a wise purchase.
So is this the Final Cut or theatrical then.
I got this version. Plan to watch it with Dolby atmos some time this week.
Then you should watch it on your TV too.
This is Theatrical Release based on date. Other releases have more recent dates of release.
For anyone wondering, the RRP (according to Google) is $17.99, thus the nature of a bargain.
The artwork is from the original release.

That is the final cut.
no buy option? US only release on Google Play?
Yep! For some reason aus can only buy one version (I believe it is the theatrical release as the dates are based on release)
Final Cut widely regarded as the best and very different to theatrical release
For critics, and people who are huge fans?
Or for the general audience who just wants to watch it for the first time before the new one?
Depends if you are into sci fi or not. The theatrical release was dumbed down and leaves out many atmospheric scenes. Also misses out on other hints of story
First time I watched it was the Director's cut without realising it and I loved it. I was shocked at how different the theatrical cut was and how much worse it was when I finally saw it.
The Final cut is basically an improved version of the Director's cut, get that if you can.
which edition is it?
