Thanks a bunch Cripto, was after some BT headphones; these more than fit the bill at a bargain price! Snapped myself up a couple of pairs! :D

I actually really like 1day.com.au! I've picked up some great buys from them in the last year or so, and the service has always been outstanding IMHO; just in case anyone was wondering about their bonafides! ;)

[stealthy ninja edit] I just got an email from 1day telling me my order's been shipped, outstanding! :D

[update] Mine arrived today (2/11), and I'm very happy for the price! To be honest, the sound quality is actually considerably better than expected & setup is a snap! The connection is rock solid too, if I put the phone (e63) in the centre of the house I can go to any room without it dropping even through double brick! They even came with two sets (Sm & Lg) of rubber ear canal inserts! Woohoo!!! :D

  • According to reviews these hurt the ears and sound is average.

    • Yep. I bought a pair last time they were on OzBargain. The ear pieces came without a rubber cover and are a bit too big for a regular ear, making them uncomfortable to wear. I ended up ordering some new covers from Avantalk, which cost way more than I would have like to spend on a tiny bit of rubber, and to boot they're total rubbish. They slip off the earphones and one has already split.

:( You may have different results, but I wouldn't recommend them.

      • i was interested to get one

how's the battery life? it says 8 hours music/talk time, how accurate is that?

        • they definately do not hurt the ear as they are only held in the ear by the stiff cord. unless you try to jam them in your ear.

as far as stereo BT headphone goes, they are decent.
but when I do running and exercise, they are good for what they are. I cant stand trailing cord when I am running. and all the controls are there for volume and changing tracks. when you have to answer the phone. the sound is clear and mic is good. unfortunately, noone calls me. but i also use it for skype.

I find that the standby time is not that great. but it only has a small battery.

  • I have a set and love them! Haven't tried any others so can't really compare, but for the price they are excellent.
In fact, I'm buying another set in case I have trouble with the current ones.
Call quality is very good, people generally can't tell you're using a headset unless you're jogging outside in the wind. Distance is good - until you walk around a corner.
Mine have got pretty wet while jogging in the rain and they still work fine.I find them to be fairly comfortable, and don't look terrible.
I reckon for the price they are well worth it - awesome for running cause damn I hate cords!

  • Does these stay on your head if you're exercising, say while jogging?

I got a pair of Nokia BH-503 ($25) headphones from focalprice after I missed this deal last time, can't wear them jogging though. :(

have never actually tried, but given their incredibly low weight, they probably would!

i can say though they're extremely portable, they're so bendable. in fact, the box you'll be getting will be about the size of the average man's wallet.

sound quality: i'd give it a 7 out of 10. if you really want true sound, then the motorola stereo headset's the way to go, for until you've tried one, you won't know what the future holds ;)
