    I've been using $12 per 900ml overseas made peanut oil to fry things, they taste so so so so much better than the rice bran oil. If $12 for 3L then that's a bargain in comparison.

  Peanut oil for the price of olive oil (when reduced)?.. That's why I never buy it.

    It has a higher boiling point than olive oil so suitable for frying.

      Rafinated olive oil has a high enough boiling point. Deep fried isn't healthy anyway.
