I have compared Adore with so many local roasters and to be honest, this stuff is the only stuff I drink now. I've found my brand and I'm sticking with it. I usually drink Adore's Jackson 5 (complex and full of flavour - good everyday beans!), and have their Florito blend for the hard mornings when I cant wake up properly.
Tried Killer for the first time this year when my mate got me some. Kept me awake for days lol. Not as complex as the J5, but will give you heart palpitations if thats what you are after.
If I didn't just buy 2kgs of adore I would probably grab some Killer as well. Not sure how often this stuff is roasted but if its anything like the Adore beans, my last batch was roasted 4 days before i bought it. I've never seen beans produce so much crema.

Actually, the amount of energy needed to grind the beans is constant. It's just whether you pay 0.01kWh of electricity to let the electric grinder do the work, or you do it manually and have extra doughnut to refill your energy :)
