Great price for the specs! 2gb ram on the 1050ti might be a stretch for gaming unless you tone down the settings a little.

    • For online games, the likes of LOL, Overwatch, DOta2, CSGO its more than enough though yeah?

Yeah, it will crush those games. More than likely max settings at 1080p.

  • Do you play video games, Scotty?

    • Scotty dont surf

    • I do have a big collection of Steam games collected from all the freebies posted on OzBargain.

      • Same, have dozens of free Steam games thanks to Ozbargain, only ever purchased Half Life Orange Box.

16GB 256GB SD and 4GB 1050 would have been nice. Dell inspiron 15 maybe a better option?

    • Yes if you have an extra $150 to spend then Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming with 4GB 1050ti might be a better option.

    • lenovo keyboards are so much better though

Can you please negotiate a deal for the X1 Carbon?

  • Very tempting, my old (non-gaming) laptop is chugging along, but I'll need to replace it eventually. In terms of gaming, it would be nice to play my go to fighting games with more convenience.

However, my current laptop probably lasts longer, even after a few years. It gets through a day of teaching (with some on and off use) without running out. I've also heard bad things about the WiFi on these, is that still an issue?

How will the 2gb vram do with pubg?

    • +1

Also interested to know this since I know pubg can be very intensive on all resources.
