The phone does have NFC, for anyone wondering.

    • any good on the camera quality? hate note 4x 's camera

      • It has the same sensor as the HTC U11 (which has been rated as the top mobile camera by DXOMark)… so shouldn't be too bad.

If you go to this page (it's in Chinese, but if you scroll to the middle section onwards there are a lot of samples):

        https://www.mobile01.com/newsdetail/22165/zenfone-4-4-pro

Decent… but at this price it's still a tad expensive, I'd rather get a discounted LG G6/Oneplus 5, or a cheaper LG V20

        • This phone's advantage might actually be battery life, the Snapdragon 660 chip seems to be incredibly efficient while having performance similar to the 820. Nothing beats the price of V20 though, but it does have annoying screen retention/burn issues.

        • @clse945111: but this one is 6gb vs 4gb of LG V200, there also seems the be a lot of complains about lag…I am still undecided if I should go for this one or the LG V20

        • @Ozziebargainhunter: Lag on which phone?
If you're talking about the ZenFone 4 I can assure you there's no lag at all (actually smoothest phone I've owned). Not sure about V20.

  • FHD screen resolution at this price point, LG G6 is better.

    • Depends if you want to sacrifice battery life for it or not.
I agree the price is a pretty high for what the phone offers though, i just disagree with criticism of FHD on phones on principle.

      • battery life isn't great either on Asus, camera is average.

I don't mind FHD but if I can get better res with same kind of money then why not

Asus phone android version is 7.0 it misses out on 7.1.2

        • I haven't seen any of the main guys actually review this phone yet so I dont know for sure but with the specs I can't imagine battery life being worse than a G6.
It's definitely a preference thing but honestly fhd (well, 1920x1200) looked sharp enough on my old 7 inch tablet let alone a 5ish inch phone. I can only barely tell the difference between FHD and QHD phones when I compare them side by side.

        • I have this phone, and the battery life is actually really really good. I bought this phone when it just came out and have been impressed with how snappy it has been, faster than the HTC U Ultra I had (which would've been similar speeds to the G6, and battery life literally doubled) I do have the 6GB version though.

And this phone is actually on 7.1.1, confirmed will be updated to Oreo.

    • This one has 6GB RAM vs LG G6 4GB.
      There is a 4GB version - $390.15 delivered
