I must confess, these artscow deals are becoming a bit repetitive, however…. this is a good one….choice of four sizes on the 'stretched' (ie framed) canvas prints.

Available on this deal we have 8” x 10”, 11”x14”, 12” x 16” and 12” x 18” sized canvases. With our easy-to-use software you can change your canvas from landscape to portrait (and vice versa) and zoom in/out as you wish.

(for information, the 'easy to use' software is microsoft silverlight)

  • 14.99 for a 18x12 canvas is an absolute bargain!

    • It's $20.99 for the 18x12.

      • +1

price comes down to USD $14.99 after you apply the coupon code

Yep, I'm an idiot. Nothing to see here, move along.

  • +1

I just ordered four 18" x 12" canvases. A$63 including shipping. Absoultely love the USD AUD parity.

    • +2

18" x 12" is essentially two A4 pages side by side for anyone trying to picture the imperial measurements.

Has anyone ordered these canvases before? quality?

      • +1

I got one from the earlier bargain and it looks great. Can't fault it.
Read this thread for a lot more info as well as comparison pics: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/32338

      • +1

I got one from the same offer in one of its previous incarnations.
The quality is good, but it depends largely on what you get printed.
I was printing some astrophotos, and the colour balance in their printers is not ideal for it. Everything came out a lot darker than I would have liked. Except for that, I can't really fault it.
As long as you aren't looking for subtle differences between dark tones you should be in luck.

        • Ok kewl, thanks for that!

  • Just made my first order after seeing all sorts of artscow deals, here goes… Great price - half of anything else I've seen.

  • no that i am bragging but i as a reseller get a fully stretched 30" x 20" for $16.99 delivered. You won't find it on their website yet as they are still testing it. When i mean i am a resller i dont mean i am selling anything but i was after custom printing of stuff prior and thought its worth to become a reseller then buy as a customer.

    • How would I become a reseller and get their prices?

      Would a 12MP compact suffice for 18 x 12?

    • you mean artsnow?

    • Well, if you're a reseller then can I buy through you?

you can do your own :)

      • Sorry mate but like i said i onnly became a reseller becuase my own printing requirements is a lot. I do it to save myself money.

        • I want to be a reseller! How to be one! Me love you long time <3.

        • Cheap price <3.

    • I still don't get how to get the price that low.

    • What is the quality like?

  • I've ordered the previous deal and hopefully they come out ok, before I order more. Come on artscow, deliver them within 22 days! ;)

    • Delivered on Friday and received the canvas (20x16) today via FedEx and the quality overall is decent for the price (comparing to $50 BigW charges). If you add black bars make sure it is less than 1" thick as the stretched area is not as big as what the image editor at artscow suggests!

  • hm…
How long is this deal valid till? and how does stuff look on canvas prints. I have no idea? I keep thinking..oil painting for some reason =S

    • Says it expires on 11/11 and just read the previous comments for quality

  • i really hope they are going to make a 40x13inch stretched frame canvases
i will order 10 from them if avalaible.

They will do what ever dimensions you need. Sadly, they are not stretched.
I'm looking for a couple of 24"x36" myself, but I will need to find a place that will stretch them for me - It looks easy enough but I lack the tools.
Just email them for a quote.

And about artscow, bought things from them previously and was very happy, decent deal for those looking for their sizes.

      • What's the difference between stretched and non-stretched?

        • +1

Stretched - Comes stretched over canvas.

When canvas isn't stretched it will be just printed onto the canvas and you'll have to stretch it yourself - get a frame and staple the canvas to it (plenty of videos on how to do it online) or get someone to do it for you.
As I said before it is not terribly difficult to do, just need a staple gun + stretcher tool.

      • +1

that's why i didn't order from victoryprinting cos i live in adelaide
means it's hard to find a reliable store to stretch with a reasonable price
        adelaide = rip off place.

  • Has anyone had experience with the shipping time? I need mine in 2.5 weeks.

    • might be tight…….I've found that it can vary….usually between 2-4 weeks…more often towards the 4 weeks….

    • I thinks it's fine.

  • What do you guys think is better 30 x 19 @ $22 or 12 x 18 @ $15 ?

  • So do we have to buy four or what, sorry?

I bought from these guys in the previous deal they had and it came today in the mail. That's 12 days! Not bad! The quality of it seems pretty good although it's just a black and white photo, it still looks very crisp.

    • So do we have to buy four or what, sorry?

choice of four sizes….buy as many as you want….

    • how much in total do you have to pay for one of them? Shipping too?

      • the clue is in the title….

        • woah sorry man, calm your farm.

          Thanks anyway..

    very calm…..and informative…

  • Mine just came in the post today! I got the 16x20 special they had on earlier (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/32338). Overall I'm pretty happy with the results.

  • I won't start a new thread, but this is good too…..

  • Is the picture in the "create me" silverlight thing you see when you purchase it actually the picture your going to recieve? or do they crop it/stretch it more to fit onto the canvas because on the "create it" thing it's only in the shape of a square?

    • generally, 'what you see is what you get'
check you have the right size canvas
check your pic covers all of the canvas, if not, use the zoom tool to make it bigger.
Make sure all the important bits of the photo are away from the edges, as some of that will be lost when it gets stretched

      • Yes,

but the trial picture thing is a square and the canvas is a rectangle?

        • it's a rectangle on my screen……

just make sure your photo fills all of it and you'll probably be fine. Don't put any important stuff in the greyed out area as that's what will be folded around the frame.

  • You sure you're doing a canvas, and not a cushion cover……?

  • Note that they have a free shipping offer at the moment for orders over $20 (use FREESHIPPING20 at checkout), so you can still get the 16x20 canvas for USD $23.99

Well, for reference, my canvasses arrived today. Shipping is VERY slow. I ordered on October 21, it was marked as "shipped by regular airmail" on October 25th and arrived here in Adelaide on November 16th.

I don't know what sort of "airmail" they use but the plane must have circumnavigated the world several times or something

    • Love the second part. Made me crack up. Really. Its more like turtle mail their using.
