Many of these will expire within 24hr or 3 to 4 days. I've set the expiry to 2 days remaining since there are way too many to keep track of and expire individually.

    Holy formatting!

Now the real question is, which are worth installing?

all the free games and apps are mostly crappy.

Yes, formatting is a real pain. I will need to write some kind of autohotkey script that allows me to copy and paste hyperlinks and then turn them into Markdown links.

  • The meteogram app for weather/tides looks interesting but danged if I can narrow down what Australian source updates the 2 possible candidates for a feed - World Weather and Open Weather….I'm assuming the other providers are not local just from the look of their names. If the source isn't Australian (BOM perhaps) I don't think these thingies are worth having…………..any info anybody?

    • Pocket Weather uses BOM. It's my favourite app. Not free though.

      • Thanks scrimshaw, saw Pocket mentioned on the other thread here for a weather map and just had a look….as you guessed, if it ain't free it ain't me LOL

Have just emailed developer of meteogram to see if I can define any possible source that uses BOM in this app.

Hmmm Pocket may be a use for those Google survey dollars tho I just realised.

!@#$ even the icon packs are riddled with in app purchases now???

  • For anyone reading…..I'd already noted the dev of Meteogram Weather & Tide presents favourably in replying to App Store comments in reviews.

As above I posted the dev re BOM sourcing of data and, in line with that excellent App Store presence, got a speedy response. The answer is "no" on BOM but this was added-

it requires the data to be available via an API, where the data can be queried via a latitude, longitude coordinate… I recally(sic) having looked into this for Australia but couldn't find anything suitable. Do you happen to know more?

Way above my knowledge, can anyone respond?

Waiting for the professor Layton game to come down to a reasonable price.

  • Mellow dark icon pack is very nice. Covers a lot of apps for me
