DAYTONA!!!!!!! It normally costs $2 to play on an arcade machine that is most likely in a poor condition so $2.48 for unlimited plays is a great deal. I've had it for a couple of months now and if each play i did of the game i played on an arcade machine i would be a very poor man.
or when you're trying to play with a friend but one machine wont accept coins and it's a rush against the clock to get it working then the disappointment of racing without your buddy :(

Worse when you couldn't adjust the seat because lever was broken. So you were either too far from the pedals or so close that you had to distort your body into a Tetris shape to squeeze into the machine!
Wow, Daytona USA was $2 here in Australia? I lived in the USA at the time, and I think this game was something like 75c or maybe $1 to play.

Nostalgia overload!!! I wonder how much one of the arcade machines would cost, they are probably collector's items at this point even though they were super common.
They were around 5k not so long ago. But they are a maintenance nightmare, and very costly when the logic boards develop faults.
Ah that's problematic, I can imagine getting a little over-zealous with the gear shifting and slamming the pedal to the metal. If they were durable I would probably buy one for $5k.

The PS3 version is great, especially with a wheel and pedals. stay away from the PC / Windows version

Excellent deal for console. Currently have the PS3 version and its an easy 100% achievement game.
It cant be as fun as the arcade.
But for a few bucks it should be alright to play on the couch with a controller (yes I know I could buy a steering wheel)
We had 4 linked at a billiards parlour… We played it with 1 person trying to finish and the other 3 had to stop them.. So we would try to block off tunnels or ram head on. So much fun

You can always just buy a Xbox live prepaid card and pay using that. I used to do that way back when before i had my credit card. Or you can also buy a load and go card which is a prepaid card which lets you top up whenever you want. I also think you can pay with paypal but I'm not to sure about that as i don't remember if i use paypal or credit card for xbox live.

Anyway to use Xb1 wheel (Thrustmaster TX from this deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/316019 - Thankyou OzB!) with X360 games? I thought xb1 wheels won't work with x360 backwards compatible games? - Bugger because I loved Forza4 on 360..
The only thing I know of is this adaptor but it's not cheap. You'll have to research to see if it is compatible with your particular wheel.
Considering Forza 4 was published by Microsoft, there is a good chance it might be added to the backwards compatibility library. I would wait. At least you can enjoy Daytona in the interim?

Love Daytona!! Paid full when it just got released on arcade classic. So it's got its 10bucks worth many times over by now.
