OK, have tried to fit all in header !
      Hope it helps

I've never bought one of these. Can anyone share their experiences with this? Is it worth it if you eat out in a restaurant maybe once a week.

    • +5

It's worth it if you eat out three times a year.

There are many buy one meal get one free.. at many restaurants that will cost you around $20-30 for a main
so after 2-3 uses you've already made your money back.

Not only what billyb67 posted, but it contains hundreds of other vouchers (non dining/takeaway).
Who knows you might find use for any of them !!

Some other notables are (usually)5% off gift cards and store cards, one complimentary admission to listed attractions when one is purchased, car hire discounts etc.

Do you normally shop at David jones or woolies or get petrol from woolies Caltex.you can purchase the dj or wish gift cards at discounted prices.
What I like the most is TGI Friday buy one get one free vouchers.with that alone , you get back the value of the book.

Yep it's excellent. I get the digital version and share it with my partner. Very handy.

    • There are 3x $10 off Chemist Warehouse vouchers (>$50 spent) in the BNE version. Use them all and you're already half way there.
Not sure other cities but you can download their app to check all available vouchers before purchase.

      • Lots of exclusion I would add. Like not valid for formula or prescription medicine

        • I didn't read the exclusion, but I used them to buy formula (with other stuff) and the staff let me use it.
I think they just try to stop people use the vouchers to just buy formulas alone.

  • Where is the detail of this promo? I cannot see it online. Just want to make sure it will come with two movie tickets before I purchased!

    • +1

I have now linked the banner in the post URL.

  • Is the promo valid for both book and digital, and how long do the Event vouchers last for?

    • Yes, promo would be valid for both subscriptions.
Sorry I cannot advise on how long the vouchers last for …..
If I had to guess, maybe 6 months ?
      Maybe someone else can advise.

  • Thanks, I have just bought the digital edition using the cancer council link.

With 2 free movie tickets it's a great offer and good motivation to stop hibernating now Melbourne winter is over.

I see some people use the gift cards to buy TVs and stuff so I hope those also work with the digital edition.

When do i get the tickets?

  • Can the movie tickets be used at village too? I see village logo in the promotion.

    • +1

Yes, I believe they are known as Village in VIC and Event in NSW….. so will be valid

      • Are you sure?

  • Just purchased digital version. When did this promo start and can we ask for tix after the purchase (eg via redemption)?

    • +1
