Yes, I would NOT buy any TV, regardless of brand name, without at least a 3 year on-site warranty.
I suspect Eddie wouldn't have any form of extended warranties for these.
From the Viewsonic site:
ViewSonic LCD TVs are warranted for three (3) years for parts, labour and one (1) year on LCD panel. ViewSonic N90 & VT76 series LCD TVs are warranted for three (3) years for parts & labor (please view Article #5: "LCD display: LCD pixel criteria" prior to obtaining warranty support)How soon they forget…
Thanks Robbie, just remembered I actually posted the Viewsonic warranty details myself on one of your submissions: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/30752 . Silly me.
I need to point out, according to viewsonic website
"What the warranty protects
This warranty is valid only for the ViewSonic Products distributed by authorized dealer(s) in Australia and New Zealand. Please contact ViewSonic Australia for warranty information and service."Is www.fluidtek.com.au an authorized viewsonic dealer in Australia? I can't find their name listed on viewsonic retailer shop's list.
@fchis: yes they are
Is this one got PVR function?
The cheapest u can get away with pay for this tv is $575 + $59 (1Tb hdd) = $634.
But i would recommend getting the 1.5Tb hdd for that litte more = $650Just out of curiosity, how does this TV compare to the 42" Soniq 100hz in terms of quality and value?
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/31647Damn, need something like this in Brisbane! Missed out on the JB deal.
how does it compare against the screen only AOC msy one?
AOC TV? We are talking about TV here.
Man this is awesome, I wish we had deals like this in Perth. I'd be walking out with 2 today. But you know, you can get similar TVs from DSE for like $697, so they're not toooo far off.
Wish they had this in Brisbane.
Good stuff Eddie.
Do you have many 1.5tb drives left?
How many you want? One per customer only.
Bought one yesterday.
Viewsonic will beat the cheap brands.
Still available today, wondering how long this is go on …
That is cheap if you happen to live in Sydney. Any option to purchase extended warranty?
