gee found a review dated from 2011 thats long time agoJust got my DC35 delivered from the previous deal this morning. Had a little go of it, worked well on our hardwood floors.
Just be aware that the roller bit in the head of the vacuum can get hairs and all sorts of shit tangled up in it very easily if you're not careful. It's not too annoying though, as long as you clean it out every few uses.
A pair of scissors is handy one it gets really tangled, also you can slide the whole roller out, worthwhile sometimes

Have one of these and you need to maintain it otherwise it won't work bery well. That being said suction doesn't suck very well not as much as a regular Dyson barrel vacuum.
If you have tiles and have a family of four I would recommend getting one with a more powerful motor such as the V6 range.

I know YouTube reviews for hard floor is not bad but for carpet better get v6 or v8. Btw battery only lasts 15 mins after each charge.
