Change your name to panzii ;)

BBQ is better than Hot though.

Tried them they didn't taste like what you would expect from chili. They also weren't very hot. I think the best part was the texture. Reminds me of ruffles back in the day.

        • This.

I would have bought original and possible s&v.
          Shame really.

        • Costco has ruffles!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In large packs too, run, run run

        • what oil are they cooked in …. palm or sunflower ?

Exactly, last time these were on specials bought 3 packets had a couple of chips, threw the rest out terrible.

Was hoping for it to taste like the sauce. Boy I was disappointed

      • yep. they freakin suck.

      • I agree, they dont have any taste to them, even between flavours o.0 Also the perfect uniform waviness of them is quite disturbing. Personally, never again

      • tbh the BBQ are passable. they are different, thicker and greasy.

the old ones (old packaging) were terrible. they have changed. i bought them both last time to compare.

  • All Woolworth stores?

The BBQ chips have a nice hint of chilli bite for those that are curious.
The chips themselves are also thicker/crunchier than the average crinkle cut as well.

Buy a quality powerboard like an APC which back their product with an item replacement warranty and not this junk :)

Wow all comments are about the chips but what about the power board.

I have this power board and it does a decent job. No complaints really.

    • Here, have a chip.

      you can't eat power boards.

      (i tried)

    • Buying one tomorrow. Perfect for my needs so hope it goes well

    • Came here looking for this. Thank you.

This is an odd combination of bargains

    • The missing link here is the TV.

  • Does anyone know whether there are any deals on really reliable powerboards? Like ones that might cost $30 at half price that you can trust with $2000 worth of equipment?

Looking to invest in a good one and get my best bang for buck too.

    • I just bought this and connected $3000+ worth of stuff to this.

      • Yeah. I thought that would be the solution.

    • I tried connecting $30 worth of stuff then $2000 worth of stuff and saw no difference.
I think it will be safe.

      • I once drove backwards down an empty highway, I didn't die. Doesn't make it safe ;)

        • You need to check specifications of something, not the price tag. Just because something is expensive doesn’t mean it’s better.

Did they change the recipe when they changed the packaging? They used to be disgusting

      The power board?
      I'm confused.

Lick it when it's plugged into a power outlet and get back to me.

  • When does this sale end? I want those chips but payday isn't until next week :O
