  Looking for some advise pls.

  Have Nvidia Shield for 4K playback with Plex. Currently running PC 24/7 for server (plex server installed). Got 2x5TB.

  Planning to switch to NAS for lower power consumption and shield with Plex Server accessing NAS for data. Is 216se suitable for this setup?

    I'd say its not the best NAS for what your after. Best to move up to a higher end QNAP model like a TS-251A, TS-251+ or TS-253A as they have a bit more grunt and are going to manage Plex Server a lot better.

      Not going to run plex server on NAS. Plex server will be on Nvidia Shield … just accessing data on NAS.

      been doing some research over weekend on this, a bit powerful and 4 bays is not a bad option. Any deals you can do on the QNAPs ?

  Hi I ordered and paid for a ds115j on Sunday. As of today, Thursday, there has been no update and the status is still on "pick". I presume this means that it has yet to be picked for allocation to my order.

  Any ideas about timeline for stock? I am picking up the order as I am not far away in Melbourne.
