Actually it looks terrible. It's only 300mm high, that's hardly worth raising off the ground, you've still got to kill your back. Also it has no capping, so you'll be cutting your fingers (and veggies) on the edges.
I've got a 60x60x30cm, it's currently got parsley, lemon grass, rosemary and a small grevilea (which I'm waiting to transfer to the actual garden when it's established). The edges aren't sharp (although if someone tackled you onto it, it might hurt, but also provide some useful blood & bone). I'm not sure how the veggies would get cut?
Being 30cm higher then the lawn, its actually easier on your back (assuming you can kneel). It's no good for root veggies such as carrots, spuds, etc But excellent for herbs & getting seedlings going.
Also handy for replanting those potted colour into whilst you're waiting for them to re-flower.
The 240v mower looks like a death trap. It wouldn't be fun mowing over a live extension cord while holding the metal handles :)
So don't do that then. Would very much doubt there's an electrical path from the handle to the blades.
Would very much doubt
Would want to be sure though…

You won't be shocked by the 60 day return policy
Maybe thats why they're also selling these

Or in the rain….
you Mow in the rain ?!?!?
we have a B&D 240v mower… mower body is plastic so I'm assuming there's no path from blades to handles (as handles are bolted to body)
would love a petrol but pita to carry over 20 uneven rocky stepsI use a corded electric mower - most of the body is made of plastic, very few metal parts. Also I don't mow over the power cord.
For anyone interested here's the actual catalogue.

Anyone had experience with the lawn edger? Thinking of getting one
I'm tempted by the garden cart.
You would be, creep
It has nice curves…
Where is this "4WD awning" of which you speak?
Love your work- thanks!
Might want to warn people with tall 4WDs.

What option mower can anyone suggest for about 7m2 front yard and 7m2 at the back. Currently use a 2 stroke whipper snipper and need to replace with something the smaller the better as not much sotrage. Thanks
Yeh was thinking a push mower just have not used one yet so was not sure if they worked well.
this is not bad too.

240V mowers are fine for small lawns.
Corded hedge-trimmers are very awkward - I severed the cord a couple of times before getting a battery one.
But corded mower is easy with a tiny bit of planning. The electric mowers are a bit useless.. better to go for a cordless or stick with petrol ones.
Personally prefer the diesel ones.
Any thoughts on either the roof racks or the light bar?
Interested in the 4WD awning but wondering how they stack up against some of the ebay options out there at the moment - lots with the 20% coupon which make them a bit cheaper so curious to hear the difference.
Thanks, the garden beds are great. lets see what Bunnings offers
