  More expensive (and I have no idea if it can be had for the 20% deal linked here), but I have a Fallkniven F1 I'm very happy with and is a similar in size and purpose to this one detailed above.

  I have a couple of Mora knives and though they are a far cheaper model (only cost about $20 each, you can get them in some camping/fishing shops) they are excellent. They don't use a high chrome steel, they hold an edge pretty well but are more prone to rust if you don't look after them.

  Not so sure about the "special Scandi-grind" statement though, it may be different from others and have advantages/disadvantages but it's not really special and is seen on many knives.

    Scandinavian is the same as your other Mora's that was just marketing wankerism with "special"

    Also they do stainless and high carbon versions of most their knives.

    Has multipoint sheath and not the leather one ….so depends on preference.

      I see. Both sellers have the Multi-Mount Sheath listed in their descriptions, guess Knives Online have been a bit slack.
