I'd usually provide the link to the posting guidelines to newbies. But a rep stands to gain for him/herself by listing their bargain here. So it is only logical that a higher standard of conduct is to be expected compared to the good samaritans who stands to gain nothing.

Anthony, I see that you yourself might not have read the posting guidelines.
All jv asked is for the post to be more descriptive (albeit a bit harsh in saying that the rep might be trying to hide something). This is one of the point in the guidelines.
It takes only a few second to type:

And like I said above, the rep stands to gain if more customers are attracted. It's a win-win.
@vwh: I know descriptive deals are much better but there are too many people here who are too lazy to find any information for themselves.
Clicking a link is not hard, doing a google search for product information is not hard!
The guidelines state that you can "provide a brief description if you wish." and that you should be descriptive with the deal details.

they are - but the only thing you need a 1.4 cable for is hdmi ethernet… otherwise 1.3 will handle everything

No Sorry just the 3 metres at this stage and definately be very competitive even against the 1.5m length cables.

We also sell internation.
The business started in 2006 and then was transferred into a company in 2008 which is why you only see 2008.

'Ultra Premium', that's a new one. What's nylon sheath supposed to do? Block harmful x-rays and laz0r beams from distorting the picture?
Nylon apparently helps with reducing electro-magnetic interference (EMI).

So instead of revealing next to nothing to this company because you can pay by Paypal you will instead read out a credit card number or something to them so they can write it down on paper and leave it lying about the office? I know which method I'd rather use.

I think some people were far too harsh on this. The poster was new and wasn't familiar with the posting guidelines, messed up, apologised and fixed it up, and for that some people jumped down his/her throat. I agree as much as any that it's important to criticise fake deals/astroturfing/clutter, but this was a genuine bargain and an honest mistake, and there's no need for mob justice.
