So cost is 6 cents per standard 6x4 photo delivered for 50 photos per month.
Sounds OK to get hard copies of some of the photos on Google photos.
    Thanks for the rehash.

      Just OK? Better deals elsewhere?

Please advise the link for better deals? Thanks

That's what I was hoping for.

@Putnum: seriously, why is this being negged?
@pencilman said the deal "sounds ok".
@Putnum questioned why it was only 'ok', and asked whether there were deals available better than this.
@Torres puzzlingly asked @Putnum for a link to a better deal.
@Putnum clarrified that this was what he himself was asking for.

          Am I missing something?

I'm throwing a like your way, @Putnum, to help balance the ledger.

          @ClawShrimp: Can't help stupid =)

    • Unfortunately on iPhone there is no access to Google photos - can print photos from on the phone itself and from Apple's photo stream.
Anyone know how to access Google Photos for Snapfish printing - can I do it if I use an Android phone maybe?

      • Yeah, same problem. Kind of pointless without google photos integration for me.

      • I got google photos on my iPhone.

In this day & age who wants hard copies of 50 photos every month (600/yr)?
To fill my monthly quota 1/2 my photos will be off bills & receipts.

    • I could do 2 sets of 20 for birthday invitations.

      • how many birthdays do you have tho?

        • +2

          As above - 2 sets - 2 kids.

        • @syousef: and the other 560 photos?

:) Why should only the technologically enlightened be suggested to the underbelly of human society?

  • Ooh interesting.
Any idea if you can enter a US address and use it to share photos with tech illiterate relatives?

    • T&C: #6. Offer valid in Australia only.

        Ah bum. Thanks

Ok just downloaded the app and changed my country to USA. I now get 100 free prints! Bonus.

    • +9

US won't take anything from Australia. Trump thinks it's a dumb deal.

Let's turn that around shall we? Save $2.95 a month by not printing your photos :P

    • +21

      That's not the Ozbargain spirit.
It's about saving money on things you don't need!

    Thanks OP.
Gave me 100,at least for the first month

      How much postage ?

      • 2.95 YMMV

        • I mean to say for 100 pic they are charging $20, if you take 50 pic they charging $2.95.

I've used the Snapfish deal before but wasn't happy with the quality (similar to Officeworks, kmart, etc), it's pretty good for the price though.

Anyone use something else when they want really nice prints? I've been tempted to get a Selphy (dye-sub) just so I can control it, but the prints come out at about 40c each.

    • I agree with the quality of Snapfish prints. The last lot we received the envelope they were posted in was trashed too.

    • I have a selphy and it's great. 40c a print is fine for the convenience and cheaper than those Fuji instant prints by far. Plus it works on iOS AirPrint so straight from phone.

    • I also have a Canon Selphy and it's great. Good quality photos especially if you use a pro camera to take them. I enjoy using it for the convenience of not having to print out photos in store or online. I find the quality better than Snapfish.

  • I could never get the app to work. Tried on three different devices. When I try to check out it stops working and gets stuck on a blank screen

  • So can you install the app and then order off PC anyway or do you have to order from your mobile? Because seriously what a pain judging quality on a mobile screen. I'd end up having to edit and select on PC then upload to the phone.

    • Haven't tried, but I'd say, it'd be easier to create the album on PC (for the 50) then login with the same account in mobile just for the ordering part

  • I need to print some Photoshop work to photos, so I can cut out little tokens for the kids. Have to be exact dimensions. Can anyone recommend a cheap place to print photos? Big W seems cheap per photo. Not sure if I trust this app to print photos from Facebook with the exact dimensions I used in Photoshop.

    • Look up the dimensions of the print finish on Snapfish and match your PS canvas size to it. Easy.

I do passport photos myself and get them printed at HN. I select no borders and no auto cropping and the photos comes out as dimensioned.

      • Awesome, that sounds good. Do you mean the online service? I might just go with HN.

        • I go into store.

  • excellent.

    The app sucks for uploading

  • Thanks OP!

  • Offer doesn't appear for me; wants over $10 plus shipping (plus over a month lead time!). I'll shell out the 10c a pic at Officeworks and have it done today.
