    3G Network
    900/2100 MHz

Important to note the bands are tailored for Optus networks, so if you're a Telstra user this is not the best device for you.

Had a fiddle with one in an Optus store a while back, not a bad phone at this price. But we got an Oppo F1s…

Mediatek MT6737, hmmm - ok for people who want just a phone and for some web browsing

link to GSM Arena with full specs

personally, would rather go a Xiaomi Redmi 4A 5.0inch for $120 @ geekbuying.

    • I agree.

I had this phone and sold it. It is a very nice build and a decent screen, but the Mediatek processor bogs it down. One can't even watch 60fps video on YouTube without it lagging.

so exactly the use case you're stating, shame really cos with a Snapdragon it would have fared better (not Snapdragon 2xx series but at least Snapdragon 4xx)

      • I thought video decoding was all done in specialized silicon these days…?
might the lag on 60fps youtube videos have some other cause?

You would think so but nope they can't get their shit together. Mediatek with pretty much everything. Sad really.

Checked and checked and it's due to that.

will this be a good 2nd phone for my fake tinder profile?

Same price @Officeworks to avoid 5% price beat !

Great and because it is on Optus you opt in to your details being sold to third party marketers and up to $200 in premium phone content from dodgy ads you might come across in legitimate sites signing you up to premium content without your consent.

So if you are on Optus be sure to opt out of both of these!

I'd love to get one at $149, where is it on sale for that?

      • +1

Woolworths have it for $169 this week

        • Interesting
          Vodafone locked
I wonder how cheaply it can be unlocked

    Good price but no NFC.
I want a cheap Android phone with NFC to use Android Pay.
