This has been available for a few days now and I thought this is the normal price until I saw the Aldi post which is more expensive. Hope this help those people around the area. They are super fresh and tastes great.

Yes apparently all you need to do is freeze them in an air proof bag / container. If you plan to use them for smoothies then you can just use them in the blender from frozen.
Remove the stems and caps, then wash and drain the fruit carefully. Do not soak in water, or the strawberry will lose flavor and nutrients. Place berries in a single layer on towels to dry. To freeze whole berries without sugar, simply place in freezer containers or bags
You could probably leave them out to rot and they wouldn't taste any worse.
Commercial strawberries, like tomatoes, are bland and tasteless.
Unfortunately true (about the taste)…
I still keep buying commercial strawberries though, they look so good but they never live up to expectations.
Taste like slightly acidic water, I really don't know why I keep getting them.
God damn mainstream strawberries are so gross. I only eat natural organic gluten free underground strawberries.
Cut up 500g , put in 3tsp sugar and 70ml water, Blitz with stick mixer till chunky sauce, Cook and pulse till smooth or leave chunky. Freeze this or use for cheesecakes ect. Where I live most are grown so we can get 2.5kg tray for $5 at local market.
What's that? You want strawberry? Well how about RAWBERRY?!?
